Literacy Council Reopens by participating in the annual Huss Community Carnival

Today the St. Joseph County Literacy Council took part in the Huss Community Carnival.  This event was held in conjunction with the Three Rivers Back to School Celebration.  It was a wonderful event.  Many different agencies participated and the Literacy Council was fortunate to meet many perspective individuals who had interests in joining our organization, either as tutors or students.  The day was filled with children moving from one booth to another and getting information and gifts!  The Farmer's Market was open and filled with delicious foods!  The public was even treated to a wonderful band playing ragtime and other music.  All in all, a great day.
