Mendon Riverfest

The annual Mendon Riverfest started today.  This is a two day event and the St. Joseph County Literacy Council is going to be selling books both days.  Unfortunately, today began with a rain storm, which held down the crowd.  Hopefully, tomorrow will be a nicer day and we will have more people attend the festival.  This is a new event for us and we hope that we have positive results.  The Riverfest is a great event with many vendors, games, shows and even wild animals shown by the Potowatami zoo.
