Literacy Council works with Three Rivers Library on "First Book" Program

Council President Ron Hooker meets with Caryn Wilson, Children's Librarian at the Three Rivers Library to go over plans for a "First Book" program.  This aim of this program is to provide a free book to each newborn child at Three Rivers Hospital throughout the 2016 calendar year.  Both of our organizations believe that a love for books begins at an early age and the Literacy Council is pleased to be partnered with the library in the pursuit of this goal.  We are grateful to "First Book" for awarding us the book grant that supplies these wonderful children's books.
